OUR BELIEFS
Apostolic Temple is a church founded on the Bible and Biblical principles. We strive to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord.
The Bible is divinely inspired by God. The infallible Word of God is our only authority for what we believe and how we live. (2 Tim 3:15-17)
There is one God (Deut 6:4). He has revealed himself as the Father (Creator), in his son Jesus Christ (Savior), and through the Holy Spirit (indwelling spirit in Acts 2 and the church today). Jesus Christ was God manifested in flesh - the fullness of Godhead dwells in him bodily (Colossians 2:9).
All have sinned and are in need of a Savior (Rom 3:23). We are saved by grace through faith, the gift of Jesus' atoning sacrifice (Eph 2:8).
The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection (1 Cor 15:1-4). We can express our belief in the Gospel through our obedience (2 Thes 1:8). We can apply it to our lives by repenting of our sins (death to sin), being water baptized in the name of Jesus (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with tongues (resurrection) (Acts 2:4).
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
